Prime Minister Adil Abd al-Mahdi had talks with his Malaysian counterpart Mahathir Mohamed on means of promoting bilateral ties on Thursday.
According to Al Sumaria News Channel, Falih Al Fayyadh, the national security advisor, said the meeting took place in Kuala Lumpur.
The Iraqi premier invited Mahathir to visit Baghdad and the latter promised to meet the invitation soon.
