Iraqi President Barham Salih has discussed with with head of the State of Law Coalition Nouri al-Maliki, on Sunday, the repercussions of the ferry sinking in Mosul, considered to be one of the deadliest accidents in Iraq.
During the meeting, they discussed the need to refer those behind the painful incident to the judiciary and hold the defaulters accountable, a statement by Salih's office read.
Also, Salih and Maliki discussed the latest developments on the political and security levels in the country, the statement said, adding that they affirmed the need to work hard to provide the best services for all citizens, guarantee their rights, and meet their aspirations.
