Iraq's Ministry of Construction and Housing announced that it would dismantle the floating bridges over the Tigris River due to the expected river waves reported earlier by the cabinet's civil crisis cell.
The ministry said in a statement that it will dismantle the floating bridges over the Tigris River, at the time and place where these waves can affect the structures of these bridges.
The ministry said it will reassemble the bridges after the waves recede, and called on all citizens to be vigilant.
