CBI auctions +$5 billion in a single month

Shafaq News/ The total sales of theIraqi Central Bank (CBI) in hard currency of the US dollar exceeded $5 billionin November.
According to the CBI's officialdata, the bank sold $5,207,440,351 in November, at a daily rate averaging$289,302,242.
Foreign exchange sales during thepast month amounted to $4,997,090,351, with an increase of 96% compared to cashsales, which reached $210,350,000.
The bank covered these transactionsat a base exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per dollar for documentary credits, andinternational settlements of electronic cards. In comparison, the rate forforeign transfers and cash transactions stood at 1,305 dinars per dollar.
