Abd al-Mahdi denounces terror attack on New Zealand mosques

Prime Minister Adil Abd al-Mahdi condemned the terrorist attack that targeted two Christchurch mosques in New Zealand, leaving scores of Muslim worshipers dead and injured.
In a statement broadcast by Alsumaria news channel, Abd al-Mahdi deplored the attacks that took place during Friday prayers.
The Iraqi premier stressed the importance of combating terrorism and extremism in all its forms.
The attack left 49 people dead and at least 20 others wounded.
