Iraq lauds Egypt's initiative to end Hepatitis C in Arab communities
The
Iraqi Embassy in Cairo commended the decision issued by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to launch an initiative to eliminate Hepatitis C among Arab
communities, including Iraqis, residing in Egypt.
This
came as part of the recommendations issued at the closing ceremony of the Arab
and African Youth Forum held in Aswan Governorate.
The
Iraqi embassy said in a press statement on Monday that Sisi's
initiatives to eliminate Hepatitis C for a million African people and eradicate
the blood-borne disease among Arab communities indicates Egypt's keenness to
remove obstacles faced by Arab people.
The
embassy thanked the Egyptian government for its role in embracing the Arab
communities, as well as the hospitality that the Egyptian people deal
accordingly with their Arab brothers.
