Minister Adil Abd al-Mahdi will start in April a series of regional visits to
Iran, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Turkey, according to media reports.

al-Mahdi seeks during his planned tour to achieve balance in Baghdad's regional
and international relations, according to reports.

al-Mahdi has refrained from carrying out any foreign visit since he was given
the confidence last October, until the completion of government formation and
the implementation of the government program.
