Abd al-Mahdi orders investigation into ferry sinking near Mosul

Prime Minister Adil Abd al-Mahdi ordered an immediate investigation after a ferry sank near Mosul, killing 40 people at least, to punish those responsible for the incident.
Abd al-Mahdi is following up "with pain and sadness" on the ferry accident near Mosul, which killed dozens of innocent people including women and children, an official statement read.
The prime minister called for following up rescue operations, search for the dead and the missing, and the provision of required treatment.
