Abd al-Mahdi to discuss economic ties with Egypt's President, PM

A source close to the government on Thursday affirmed the departure of Prime Minister Adil Abd al-Mahdi to Cairo on Friday upon an official invitation by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
Abd al-Mahdi will visit Egypt heading a high-level delegation in his first foreign visit since taking office, the source said.
The prime minister will discuss, during his planned meeting with Egyptian President Sisi and Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, ways to strengthen bilateral relations, especially in the economic field, as well as the intelligence cooperation in the war against terrorism.
