Repairs on Langa Bazaar near completion in Erbil

Because of an electrical short, Langa Bazaar caught fire destroying much of it on October 25, 2018.
So far, 95 percent of reconstruction work has finished.
Laborers have worked tirelessly — day and night — to rebuild the second-hand market that is a landmark in the capital of the Kurdistan Region capital, Erbil.
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) will soon declare the completion of the project in a ceremony.
Shop owners have expressed gratitude for the endeavors of the KRG and Erbil Municipality.
