Iraq takes part in Dubai's Arabian Travel Market
Iraq will participate in the 26th edition of the annual Arabian Travel Market 2019, which is being held in Dubai this year from April 28 to May 1.
Head of the Tourism Board of Iraq Hamoud Mohsen said in a statement that his Board along with the ministry of culture appreciate the participation of Iraqi companies in the Arabian Travel Market
Iraqi participation in such events aim at promoting tourism marketing and show a good image of the country, Mohsen said.
A large number of Arab and foreign leaders visited the Iraqi wing in the event, Mohsen said, pointing out that Iraq has all kinds of tourist destinations, which are not limited to religious attractions.
The Arabian Travel Market is considered the region's premier tourism event as it provides a unique platform consisting of a series of seminars and discussions that aim to address various aspects of the travel industry, Zawya reported.
Each year, the exhibition enables participants to display prominent international tourism destinations, thereby attracting a wide range of visitors and individuals specific to the travel and tourism sector, and a host of travel and tourism publications. This year's edition will feature 500 exhibitors, with an estimate of more than 20,000 visitors expected over the course of four consecutive days.
