Abd al-Mahdi arrives in Paris to discuss boosting bilateral ties

Prime Minister Adil Abd al-Mahdi reached Paris as part of a European tour that includes the Netherlands and Germany.
Also, Abd al-Mahdi arrived in Berlin on Monday for his first official visit to Germany since taking office in October 2018, a statement by the Iraqi cabinet read.
Abd al-Mahdi held talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on strengthening the strategic partnership between Iraq and Germany, the economic development and reconstruction of Iraq as well as regional peace and security.
The prime minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation including the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Electricity, Construction and Housing, the National Security Adviser and a number of other officials.
