Politician urges taking measures to fight corruption in Nineveh

Fadi al-Shemari, member of the political bureau of Hikma Movement, said the deals taking place in Nineveh over the post governor is considered as a scandal.
On Twitter, Shemari said “what the biggest provinces in Iraq, including Basra and Nineveh, suffer requires taking measures to fight corruption.”
Shemari also called on the parliament and cabinet to “take swift decisions to limit such deals which wasted interest of the people.”
Moreover, he greeted courageous people “that stood in the face of the intimidation by some members of Nineveh council members.”
