Massive fire at the Parvez Khan border crossing kills one, destroys fuel trucks

Shafaq News/ On Monday, a major firebroke out at the Parvez Khan border crossing with Iran, near Kalaron the outskirts of Al-Sulaymaniyah, a security source reported.
The source told Shafaq News,"Firefighting teams are working to extinguish the flames," addingthat "the fire consumed a large number of trucks and fuel vehicles."
Civil Defense spokesperson inGarmian, Kurdistan Region, Ibrahim Mohammed, stated, “The fire broke out in sixoil tankers, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to severaldrivers.”
“Five firefighting teams rushed tothe scene to control the blaze.”
The cause of the fire is unknown atthe time of reporting.
