BAGHDAD - Iraq's northern crude exports resumed Tuesday evening after Turkey temporarily halted pumping due to Monday's massive earthquake, according to a Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) official.

The KRG depends on its pipeline to Turkey for all of its crude exports, which averaged 400,000 bpd in 2022 and provide the single largest source of revenue for the semi-autonomous government. The federal government also pumps a small minority of its crude exports through the northern pipeline system, averaging 74,000 bpd last year.
