50% of Japanese university students utilize Generative AI, survey finds

In a recent survey conducted by the National Federation of University Co-operative Associations (NFUCA), it was revealed that half of Japanese university students have used text-generating artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT, with 30% of them incorporating such AI into their routine academic practices.
