Kurdish Journalism Day celebrated with emphasis on press freedom, ethical responsibility

Nechirvan Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Region, extended warm congratulations to all journalists, commemorating the 126th anniversary of the first issue of "Kurdistan" newspaper by Mir Miqdad Badrkhan, as well as the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate.
