Russia’s counter-terror operation in Dagestan nears conclusion

Russia's anti-terrorism agency reported on Sunday the conclusion of the "active phase" of its operation against gunmen responsible for deadly attacks in Dagestan, with Derbent declared secure while the standoff continued in Makhachkala.
