Poem Dedicated to Mark Esper

I am sad my comrades-in-arms
I am sad
You leave and leave your honour behind
Under Turkish boots
And our children
Under phosphoric bombs

You leave with heads bent down
You cannot look out and stare
At the eyes of Qamishli children
Who adored you like their fathers
For they thought you were
Comrade-in-arms
And brothers and sisters in blood.

Now covered with bright phosphoric burns
Our kids hurry to throw some good-bye stones
At your fleeing tanks and trucks
But you are ungrateful cowards:
You don’t pause for a little fun
You are quick to cut and run.

You don’t want to be in harm’s way
Soldiers from a Banana Republic
With Strongest Army in the world
Who are Paper Tigers
And whose commander-in-chief
Is a coward clown

Good-bye, Good-bye
Our comrades-in-arms
We forgive you, but not forget you
I fully agree with you
When you give up your Honour
As a soldier
There is nothing to fight for.

The blood of 8 – is superior to that of 10,000
Has USA shed its racism?
Are Men all creatures of God
With right to liberty and fighting tyranny?

We crush their heads, says Turkish Hitler
Great day for civilization
Says the American Clown.

America is all VICE
No Values
Can’t prove otherwise.

Good-bye, Good-bye
Cowards-in-retreat
I forgive you
But I will not forget you
I agree with you
When you give up your honour
As a soldier
There is nothing to fight for
And children of Rojava
Deserve to die
Because once
They loved you like their uncles.

But we will fight for life, land and liberty
And we totally understand
People without military honour
Cannot be our comrade-in-arms.
