Shafaq News/Basrah crude prices fell on Thursday, tracking a global decline in oil prices.
Basrah Heavycrude dropped by 32 cents, or 0.44%, to settle at $71.71 per barrel, whileBasrah Medium crude declined by the same amount, reaching $74.77 per barrel.
Brent crudefell $1.91 to $73.04 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crudeslipped $1.97 to $69.74 per barrel.
