The Iraqi Cabinet held its regular session, today, Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, and discussed a number of issues, and took the necessary decisions regarding them, as the Cabinet discussed the conditions of Iraqi students and their families in the Chinese city of Wuhan, and the precautionary measures taken to secure their transportation, and ensure their health safety, and reviewed the work of the specialized committee formed under the chairmanship of the Health Minister on this subject.
In its meeting held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr. Fuad Hussein, the Cabinet approved the termination of the investment contract concluded on 07/13/2013 according to Cabinet’s decision (257 of 2015) with the company Basra International Oil and Gas Hub (BIOGH) to develop a consensual free zone, provided that the aforementioned company relinquishes all claims and legal rights due to termination of the contract, and returns the amount of insurance to the aforementioned company.
