Erbil lights candles for Mosul ferry victims

Kurds in Erbil lit candles on Friday in remembrance of the nearly 100 people who died when a ferry capsized in Mosul’s Tigris River. 

The victims had been celebrating Newroz when the tragedy happened on Thursday. 

The government declared three days of national mourning for the victims.
