A strong thunderstorm and rain have hit Baghdad, and knocked down many trees, electricity wires and billboards in the streets, said Civil Defense Director General, Kadhem Salman Buhan.
Rescue teams were deployed
immediately in the streets and highways with full readiness to provide
assistance to citizens, Buhan said.
