Number of candidates running for the post of the Nineveh governor reached 45, an informed source said on Tuesday.
“Number of the candidates for the Nineveh governor position reached 45 persons, amid declining chances for Ahmed al-Jabouri,” the source said.
“There is a contest in Erbil to get satisfaction of the Kurdistan Democratic Party amid expectations of having more than one candidate.” he added.
