Shafaq News / The prices of Basra's heavy and intermediate crude oils experienced a notable decline, despite a global upswing in oil prices.
Basra's heavy crude oil dropped by 1.13 dollars, settling at 88.70 dollars per barrel, while Basra's intermediate crude oil also saw a decrease of 1.13 dollars, reaching 91.85 dollars per barrel.
These fluctuations occurred against the backdrop of a global oil market grappling with heightened tensions and investor anxiety. Global oil prices, which had climbed in an attempt to offset losses from previous days, surged amidst ongoing concerns regarding the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
