Locally manufactured vehicles account for 83% of Iran’s traffic accident fatalities

Head of Iran's Traffic Police, Hassan Moemeni, said that domestically manufactured vehicles were responsible for 83 percent of traffic accident deaths in Iran and the remaining 17 percent were attributed to foreign-made vehicles.
