Mthuli Ncube Under Fire For Lying On CNN, Compared To Iraq’s “Comical Ali” By Western Media
Minister of Finance Mthuli Ncube has been compared to Saddam Hussein’s former spin doctor Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf who was derisively referred to as “Baghdad Bob” or “Comical Ali” due to his outrageous lies. The comparisons came after Ncube appeared on CNN’s Quest Means Business show and claimed that the #shutdownZimbabwe protests had not in fact been caused by the increases in the price of fuel.
