Protesters storm Turkish base after civilian deaths in airstrikes

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Protesters have stormed a Turkish base in Shiladze, in Duhok province’s Amedi region.
They are protesting Turkish airstrikes that have killed at least six civilians this week. Protesters appear to have started a fire in the base.
Two people have been wounded in the protests.
Turkey frequently launches airstrikes against alleged PKK positions in the Kurdistan Region.
