ISIS cell, killing 13-year old girl in Mosul, arrested
A court in Mosul
announced on Sunday the arrest of a cell belonging to ISIS terrorist group, who
the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq said are responsible for the recent explosions
in Mosul, which killed a 13-year old girl.
Based on judicial orders
issued by the Mosul Investigation Court and in cooperation with the Falcon
Intelligence Cell, the security cell belonging to ISIS, which was responsible
for the explosions in Iraq's Muthanna and al-Majmoua was arrested, the Council
said, adding that the security operation was carried out in retaliation for the
girl Haneen.
Iraq has declared victory
over ISIS in December, 2017. However, different parts of the country have been
attacked by the terrorist group's dormant cells since then from time to time.
