Iraqi forces kill 12 IS militants in Kirkuk

(MENAFN) On Friday, Iraqi security forces murdered 12 IS militants in the southwestern province of Kirkuk, officials emphasized.
They included four senior members of the terror group, according to a statement from the Defense Ministry.
Also, a large store of ammunition was confiscated in a shelter near Havice district of Kirkuk, the statement added.
In late 2017, officials in Baghdad affirmed that Daesh's military presence in Iraq had been all but completely damaged after a three-year war with the terror group.
