5 leading figures in Gorran resign over 'leadership's deviation'

Leading members of the Kurdish Gorran Movement have submitted their
resignation, saying that the movement has deviated from the path for which it
was founded.
The five prominent members include a member of the movement's national council.
They referred, in a statement, to the weakness of the political decisions of
the movement, and the deviation of movement's leadership from the political
program for which it was founded in 2009.
Founded in 2009 by Nawshirwan Mustafa, Gorran is the third largest political party by votes after
the Kurdistan Democratic Party and Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.
